The Vernon Company is pleased to announce Dave Cook has been promoted to Controller, effective on March 1, 2015.
Cook joined The Vernon Company in March 2012 as Assistant Controller. He was instrumental in Vernon’s recent computer conversion and will continue to be the company expert on the accounting, credit, general ledger and financial business intelligence portions of the new computer system. In addition, Cook assumes responsibility for the finance departments of The Vernon Company.
“Dave has been a great addition to The Vernon Company and was instrumental in our computer conversion. He has become a key liaison between our home office and our subsidiary companies,” said Joe Stocker, Vice President – Finance and Corporate Secretary.
